Relevant opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company located in Anaheim,
CA. as Quality Control Manager. The primary functions of the QC Manager are: a) establish the procedures
and working instructions and supervise the compliance to assure the quality of the products; b) address
the quality rejections and complaints from customers, thru the analysis of the issues reported, the
implementation of containment actions, determination of disposition and the coordination, supervision
and/or execution of CAPA to avoid recurrence, involving all parties required; c) design, implement,
supervise and maintain corresponding testing methods to assure the compliance of the product per
customer’s specifications; c) processing the applicable Engineering Change Notice and supervise the QC
ECO implementation; d) develop/supervise creation of training material and provide training in relation with
Quality Control functions, e) analyze levels and trends of internal and external quality to promote the
improvement; f) provide technical support to the customers, participate in key meetings to address issues
and promote the continuous improvement between customers and Rapid Manufacturing, keeping proper
track/documentation of communication as required and g) support documental requirements (i.e. CoCs)
per customer needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
• Search, review, present for approval, and coordinate the acquisition of new measuring and
testing devices required.
• Detecting non-conforming products, preventing escapes to the customer, and allowing the flow
of production with no delay, supporting the delivery on time of shipments.
• Develop, document, and communicate guidelines and procedures, to the applicable personnel,
to ensure the robust detection of non-conforming products at all Quality Control stages.
• Supervise the elaboration of the First Article Inspections Report (FAIR) to ensure compliance
with the customer requirements, condition of the first pieces created, etc.
• Develop, review, and approve training material related to the functions of inspection and testing
of product, as well, as the usage of testing and measuring devices, to ensure the proper usage
of them, the accurate testing or measuring of product and its characteristics, the prevent
damage on equipment and personnel injuries.
• Participate as an internal trainer in different topics as required.
• Participate in the Engineering Change Management process, through the review and approval
of Engineering Change Notices and ensure the implementation of the Engineering Change
Order on applicable work orders on time.
• Participate in meetings with customers to discuss topics related to quality issues as well as
plans of improvement on quality, including criteria, specifications, and methods, keeping
constant communication internally and externally.
• Keep updated the database of NCRs-Rejects, communicating to the involved parties about
pending tasks to meet the goal per current procedures.
• Establish, and monitor all appropriate quality programs, procedures, testing, and inspecting
methods and equipment to assure compliance of products per customer specifications, as well
as the optimization of methods and systems for the performance of product testing and
inspection, including the automatization of records.
• Maintain, monitor, and perform the corresponding analysis on KPIs supporting the compliance
of the Organization’s goals, taking the corresponding actions as required to keep control of
them.
• Develop, present, and keep control of the execution and success of strategic projects approved
by the upper management.
• Participate in the Management Review to display the KPI and Operational Indicators, and
Strategic projects, to support the compliance of the Organizational goals.
• Maintain good communication with the upper management and the team assigned to address
and escalate, if required, on time any issues that may arise.
• Follow the Employee, Safety and all Rapid Manufacturing policies, always and ensure that
personnel assigned comply with them.
• Participate/create Continuous improvement projects, as Kaisen.
• Coordinate the control plans, and the inspection process, to guarantee the correct inspection
process for incoming inspection with the Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Maintain proper control of inventory on Incoming Inspection and DMR areas, controlling the
inventory and handling the issues with the Vendors.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise:
• Able to use properly calipers, rulers, measuring tapes, go-no-go gauges (i.e. internal diameter
gauges), pull testers, hardness testers, terminal retention testers, microscope, and scales.
• Able to use and read the English System and the International System of Units (formerly the
Metric System of Units) for measuring products, including conversions among them.
• Able to read Engineering Drawings, BOMs, and material specifications.
• Knowledge of handling of electrical/electronic cable assemblies.
• Familiar with ESD (a plus).
• Able to use properly electrical/electronic (and mechanical/pneumatic) test devices such as
multimeter, automatic electronic testers, air pressure testers, data transmission testers, high
impedance testers, and others.
• Able to use and read the English System and the International System of Units (formerly the
metric system) for measuring products, including conversions among them.
• Minimum one year of experience in cables assembly.
• Use of PC: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other transactional systems (ERP Systems) and
knowledge of the use of the internet (surfing).

• Electromagnetic, electric, and electronic circuit knowledge.
• Characterization Testing.
• Use of Electrical Test Equipment.
• Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
• Adequate judgment and criteria based on specifications.
• Follow detailed instructions (documented and verbal).
Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or similar (i.e. digital
communications).
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Electrical/Electronic assembly, production, or
inspection (a plus).
• Understanding and application of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standard, J-STD and IPC/WHMA-A-620–S
(certification a plus)
• Understanding and application of J-STD-001 standard (certification a plus)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ISO 13485 and ISO 14000 standards, NADCAP AC7121 (a
plus).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles/tools (a plus).
Physical Requirements:
• Vision meeting 20/20 with the naked eye or with eyeglasses.
• Not being color blind (>90% on Ishihara color test).
• Capable of walking and carrying loads of less than 10 lbs. without assistance.
