PRODUCTION ASSEMBLER FIRST SHIFT (6AM 2:30PM)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
• Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures installing components, units, subassemblies, wiring,
crimping, soldering, plugging stripping, routing, inspecting, and potting.
• Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to
specifications.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to
determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
• Support other co-workers by explaining assembly procedures or techniques
• Set up and maintain a clean working environment at all times
• Maintain good communication with the Manager of issues that arise during shift period.
• Understand and follow all safety policies, codes, and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Expertise:
• Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment
• Experience in : – Stripping cable – Terminate cable – Crimping terminals/contacts – Soldering – Assembling and Inspecting
cable and wire harnesses
• Familiar with hand crimping tools for standard terminal contacts (AMP, Tyco, Molex, D-sub…)
Skills:
• Capable to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or
assemble objects.
• The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or
assemble very small objects.
• The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns
of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
• The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
• Follow detail instructions (verbal and written) • Must be capable to operate cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns,
solder irons, etc. • Meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of measurements • Basic knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620 workmanship standards
