SUMMARY OF POSITION

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as an Administrative clerk in Anaheim, CA. As the Administrative Clerk the successful candidate will have some

experience in administrative functions in an office and warehouse environment. This person will work closely with Rapid’s suppliers, internal customers, accounts payable, planning, purchasing & warehouse team as well as any other departments with administrative needs.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:

 

  • Perform general clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operations.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and modify documents, including correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails.
  • Assist in data entry and record-keeping tasks to maintain up-to-date and accurate information.
  • Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
  • Follows direction and executes delegated assignments.
  • Completes assignments in a timely manner.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Accountable and takes full ownership of the position.
  • Facilitate routine meetings with functional departments (Quality, Maintenance, Operations, Finance) to identify and resolve emerging issues which could impact project timelines
  • Develop technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Assist with troubleshooting and technical analyses on manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Assist with modifying/developing preventative maintenance plans and creating spare parts
  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:

Experience in:

  • Using a computer/laptop
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • In person and telephone Customer Service

Qualifications:

  • A Degree or equivalent experience (Preferred but no required)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to thrive in a high fast-paced environment.
$17 – $18 per hour
